Attorney Steven L. Gonzales has spent nearly his entire career practicing civil law. He’s represented everyone from individual clients to multibillion-dollar companies. That experience has made him a fearless civil litigator. He has extensive knowledge of New Mexico personal injury and business law. In addition, he’s spent two decades cultivating a network of professional legal connections in the New Mexico court system. As a result, he is respected in the legal community and among the benching bar. Steve spent a significant portion of his early career working for other law firms, and since 2005 has been providing quality legal representation in the personal injury and business law fields.

Steve is a proud New Mexican. He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1996 and graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2000. After practicing law in the Washington, DC area, he returned to New Mexico and has lived here ever since. He’s currently licensed to practice in the New Mexico Supreme Court, the US District Court for the District of New Mexico, and the US Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Outside of work, you can find Steve traveling throughout New Mexico to take in the unique sights of the Land of Enchantment. He’s an avid photographer and loves snapping pictures of the landscapes, flora, and fauna that make New Mexico great. He’s also an amateur historian, and enjoys learning about the cultures, people, and events that shaped New Mexico into the state it’s become today. Steve currently lives in Santa Fe with his wife and two children.
